Sales – Invoice Logs Report

The Sales – Invoice Logs report tracks every action made on an invoice such as the item that was sold, memberships, packages, campaigns, or discounts applied or removed, details of commissions and tips that were added, updated, or removed.

To run the report, follow these steps:

  1. Select the center.
  2. On the main menu, click the Reports tab.
  3. In the left-hand side menu, click Finance.
  4. From the filter, select Sales.
  5. From the list of reports, click Sales – Invoice Logs.
    The report opens in a new tab.
  6. Select the required filter criteria and click Refresh.
    Notes:
    – To export the report, click the Excel () or CSV () icons.
    – To view the report in fullscreen mode, click the Fullscreen () icon.

Filter Criteria

Criteria Options Description
Report Name List of reports for sales Lists all sales reports.
Modified Date Today
Last 7 days
Last 14 days
1 month
2 months
3 months
6 months
Custom
Lets you filter the report based on a date or date range during which the invoice was modified.

Select Custom to select a date range.
Note: For custom dates, you can view data for a maximum date range of 6 months at a time. For example, if you wish to see data from January to August, first view data from January to June and then view data from July to August.

Modified By List of employees Lists all the employees in the current center.

Hint: Select All to view the actions performed by all employees in the current center.

Source All Sources
– Zenoti
– Mobile
– Web
Lists the sources from where the appointment was booked.

– All Sources: Select this to view the logs for invoices generated from all sources
– Zenoti: Select this to view the logs for invoices generated from the Web Appointment Book
– Mobile: Select this to view the logs for invoices generated from CMA (Customer Mobile App)
– Web: Select this to view the logs for invoices generated from the Webstore.

Action List of actions that are captured for invoices Lists all the invoice actions that are captured in the log.

Hint: Select All to view the report for all invoice actions that are captured in the logs.

Column Descriptions

Column Description
Date/Time The date and timestamp when the action is taken on the invoice.
Invoice No.

Note: This label can be different based on your organization set up.

The number generated by Zenoti when an appointment or point of sale instance is initiated for the item.

Note: Click the number to view the invoice details.

Action The action performed on the invoice.

For example, if the front-desk staff has updated the item price, this column will show Update item-price as the action performed on the invoice.

Item The name of the item that was updated.
Original Value The previous value of the field before the selected action was performed on the invoice.

For example, if front-desk staff adjusted the sale price of a Hair Shampoo bottle from 100 to 50, this column will show 100 as the original value of the shampoo bottle.

New Value The updated value of the field after the selected action is taken on the invoice.

For example, if front-desk staff adjusted the sale price of a Hair Shampoo bottle from 100 to 50, this column will show 50 as the new value of the shampoo bottle.

Modified By The name of the employee who performed the action on the invoice.

Note: For online sales, this column is blank.

Invoice Source The source from which the invoice is generated. It is one of the following:

– All Sources
– Zenoti for Web Appointment Book
– Mobile for CMA
– Web for Webstore
